Who we are

The data controller for this website is Found On Search. You can contact us at enquiries@fireriskessex.co.uk. This notice covers this website only. It does not cover the websites, forms or privacy practices of any assessor you deal with after we pass on your request.

What we collect and why

To request a quote you must tell us your email address, name, town or district and premises type; a phone number and further details are optional extras. We use these to deal with your request and, with your consent, to pass it to independent assessors.

We also note which page and which form position (top or bottom) you used, to see which pages help visitors. That is for our own improvement and is not passed on. Submissions reach us through our hosting provider's form service.

Who we share it with

With your consent, we pass your quote request on to independent assessors operating in your area, so that they can contact you about it. We never sell your details, and we do not share them with anyone else, so nothing goes beyond those assessors.

Lawful basis and retention

Our lawful basis for passing your details to assessors is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. Enquiries are kept only as long as is reasonably necessary to deal with your request, and are then deleted unless the law requires us to retain them.

Your rights

UK GDPR gives you the right to see, correct or erase the information we hold on you, and to withdraw your consent whenever you wish. Email enquiries@fireriskessex.co.uk and we will reply within the legal time limit. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
